Hunter's nursery art is finally finished! I started it forever ago, then stalled until literally the night before we left for Houston. Nothing like waiting until the last minute!
I hung it over the weekend and love how it turned out. The wall behind the crib is really tall and needed a statement piece. I think this suffices!
Here's how the project went down!
I gave the canvases a heavy coat of white primer to help stop the paint from bleeding. You can see there were a few air bubbles though. It also didn't help that my kiddo stepped right in the middle of the canvas when it was wet!
I peeled off the tape hoping for the best! There was some excess gray that I touched up with a brush and white acrylic paint. That made the lines even crisper.
The letters were spray painted in a grasshopper green and attached to the boards with hot glue!
Voila'!!
Nursery letter art for around $20!
